1)     Earlier this month, at the annual gathering of the Transportation Research Forum, Dr. Joe Schwieterman, Director of the Chaddick Institute for Metropolitan Development, interviewed me and surprised me with their President's Award. Thank you, Joe!

2)     While in DC, I met with the President of the International Economic Development Council to discuss rail-enabled economic development, our breakthrough approach to effectively connecting transportation, industrial systems, infrastructure, and land use for sustainability and community quality of life. We agreed to meet again to consider partnering in creating a rail-enabled economic development education program.

3)     I also met with the leaders of an 850,000 rail-related union that wants to partner to advance railroads and rail electrification.

4)     I had a meeting with the Federal Railroad Administration leadership to discuss federal funding of our new paradigm for multistate industrial systems planning.

5)     Last week, we completed and submitted our Great River Railroad Rebuild Viability Report and Evolving Action Plan to our client, the Port of Rosedale, Mississippi. It is a breakthrough paradigm in consulting, collaborative thinking and action, and rail line reconstruction. Thank you, Tom Erickson, Carl Belke, Colleen Campbell, and Dan Guido, for your contributions there.

6)     We are in deep dialogue with the US Department of Energy about collaborating to fund the advancement of our Strategic Minerals Supply Chain Logistics Strategy, developed during our work in Nevada over the past five years.

7)     This Thursday and Friday, I will be in College Station, Texas, as an Industry Advisory Board Member of the four-university consortium of the Center for Freight Transportation for Efficient & Resilient Supply Chains.

Carry on, everyone!
